Our story started through a mutual friend, who had been convinced for a while that we needed to meet. After a little persistence — and Sarah finally agreeing to a date — we went out in December. By our second date, we were pretty much inseparable. Over the months that followed, we fell in love and knew pretty quickly that this was it.

Ian proposed in May of this year, and in true us fashion, we decided there was no reason to wait too long to make it official. This November, we will be surrounded by the people we love the most as we say “I do” in Charleston — a city that has been a special place in our relationship from early on and holds some of our favorite memories and moments together.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found each other — and even luckier to celebrate this next chapter with all of you in Charleston.
